Zoe Ko


Since 2009, Ms. Zoe has developed her passion as a violin teacher. She enjoys teaching students of all ages and levels. Improvement and happiness of her students are the motivations for Zoe to be a well-rounded and successful teacher!

Zoe has been playing the violin for 19 years. She has participated in numerous concerts, rehearsals, workshops, chamber ensembles, and masterclasses.

Here are some highlights of her experience: 

  • 2012: Bachelor of Music, major in violin performance from University of Calgary
  • Member of Alberta Registered Music Teachers Association (ARMTA)
  • 2010: Music Performance Diploma from Mount Royal University
  • Yamaha Certified Violin Instructor
  • 2008: Graduate of the Academy of Gifted Youth from Mount Royal Conservatory

2005: sectional teacher at an elementary orchestra, Taipei, Taiwan
2009~2010: private violin instructor at Piano-Works (now Harmony) Music School
2010~2013: private & group violin instructor at Musica Academy Ltd.
